In Japan "W" means "double" for obvious reasons ^_^ These cards are "Double" because they are two pieces. You peel off the sticker on one side and are left with a thin transparent plastic card. Some collectors call these Film or slide Cards but I think somewhere along the line they confused these with the Film Collection Set. These are also sometimes called PVC. There are foils in this set (The one of Makoto seen here is one) Only the sticker part of the foil is metallic. The images on the fronts of these cards are all framed with scrolling while the backs are framed in all different ways. These were sold out of vending machines originally.
