It's been a few years but we are finally hosting another Not-A-Con event!

Date: Sat. August 21st

Time: 1PM - 6PM

Location: Secret Studio , 
7 N. Broad Street
Ridgewood NJ, Lower Level 

Come meet other local anime fans and participate in games, contests, trading sessions and an Auction! There will be Door prizes, items for sale, and Japanese snacks.

Space is limited so we are asking guests to secure a spot by purchasing a $5.00 "Chibi-pass" which can be used as credit in the shop towards any purchase on the date of the con. 

Chibi-pass is an actual Chibimoon figure that you can keep or exchange for credit in the shop. They will be registered under the purchasers name and numbered and can be picked up at the event. Those who purchase Chibi-pass and do not attend the day of the event will have the figure shipped to them after the event.

So far Events include: 

1. Door Prizes: These will be awarded randomly through out the day.

2. Onaka Challenge : Contest where contestants try strange Japanese snacks that are identified after it is eaten. Prize awarded to whoever tries the most and strangest items. Sign up for this contest via email. Note: if you have ANY food allergies (such as fish, shellfish, MSG or nuts) you may not enter this contest. If you are under 18 you must have a parent or guardian sign a permission slip. 

3. Quarter Auction: We will be auctioning off all sorts of items from cards, advertising posters and printed materials to key chains, figures and Irregular Cosplay items. We will start with .25 cent items to be bid on in 25 cent increments. 

4: Trading sessions: Trade Cards, merchandise and manga with other collectors. This is for Trade only, no selling.

Transportation: We are located across the street from the Ridgewood Train station and less then 2 blocks blocks from the Ridgewood Bus station.  

Parking: On Saturday you can park in any of the Ridgewood Municipal Parking lots for free. If you park on the street you will have to pay for the meter every 2 hours. 

Please do NOT wear costumes. Head gear such as cat ears are ok, but not wings, weapons, robes or masks.  We don't want to freak out the locals.

Food: There are several sushi restaurants close by, a Duncan Donuts upstairs as well as a Deli and many other eateries within walking distance.
